Which games are affected?

FromSoftware says the game servers for Dark Souls II and Dark Souls III are temporarily unavailable on all platforms because of a server issue. Its player-support account published notices in Japanese and English on October 30, 2026.

The English interruption notice remained the latest post shown in the official support feed when checked at 23:41 UTC on October 30. The announcement names these two games; it does not announce an outage for every FromSoftware title.

When will the servers return?

The notice gives no restoration time. FromSoftware says it will provide another update when information about recovery becomes available. It describes the interruption as temporary and does not announce a permanent shutdown.

The studio has not explained the technical problem in these notices. They do not establish a security exploit, an attack or a connection to the series’ earlier outages.

Do not confuse it with the October 28 maintenance update

The same official feed contains an October 28 message saying Dark Souls II maintenance had finished and online services had resumed. That message predates the separate October 30 interruption.
