The confirmed launch and pre-order dates

Final Fantasy XIV: Evercold is scheduled to launch on Tuesday, February 23, 2027. Square Enix confirmed the date in its October 31 announcement, and the US Lodestone notice says pre-orders open on Wednesday, November 4, 2026.

These are separate milestones: November 4 is the advance-order date, while February 23 is the expansion launch. Evercold is not available to play yet.

Early access is planned for February 19

The US notice schedules early access for Friday, February 19, 2027, at 1 a.m. Pacific Standard Time, or 4 a.m. Eastern Standard Time. Square Enix describes it as a pre-order benefit and calls the timing tentative in its announcement.

Early access is the advance play period before the February 23 release. The announcement does not establish an exact launch-hour schedule for February 23; the early-access hour should not be reused as the launch time.

What Zephyr adds

The newly revealed Zephyr is a physical ranged damage job built around crossbow attacks and an avian companion named Nephele. It is one of the new jobs announced for Evercold, rather than a job released in the current game today.
