Two times to remember
The Orionids Minior event in Pokémon GO runs from 19 October at 17:00 to 24 October at 23:59 local time. During the event, the daily period from 17:00 to 21:00 brings an increased chance of encountering Minior in the wild.
The distinction matters on the final day: the evening bonus ends at 21:00, while the overall event continues until 23:59. The schedule follows the local clock where you play, so there is no single US or European start hour to convert.
What the announcement confirms
Minior can appear in its Meteor Form in the wild during the listed showers. An increased chance does not guarantee an encounter, and the announcement gives no numerical spawn rate.
Check the in-game event information before starting a session, particularly if you are travelling. The event schedule can change; the official announcement linked below remains the reference for its dates.
