Sales growth and losses are separate measures

Quantinuum reported third-quarter 2026 revenue of $9.1 million, up from $2.7 million a year earlier, in results first announced on November 5. The reporting period ended September 30. A Spanish-language release distributed on November 6 covers the same results, rather than a second earnings event.

The GAAP net loss widened to $118 million from $52 million. Separately, the adjusted EBITDA loss increased to $80 million from $45 million. Adjusted EBITDA is a non-GAAP measure and should not be read as net income or cash flow. The release includes unaudited financial tables and reconciliations.

A higher forecast, rather than achieved annual sales

The company raised its 2026 revenue forecast to $31 million to $34 million, from $28 million to $32 million. Those figures are management’s outlook, not completed full-year results.

Cash and cash equivalents stood at $1.94 billion on September 30. That balance has a different measurement date from the November announcement and is not a statement of cash available today.

What the software update tells customers

Quantinuum says Nexus adoption rose nearly 20 percent quarter over quarter to 215 organisations. Its separate tenfold increase in submitted jobs compares the 12 months through August 2026 with the preceding 12-month period; it is not a third-quarter-only growth rate.

The company plans a December Nexus release covering hybrid quantum-classical workflows, error-correction support and execution analytics. The release does not give an exact December day or a new customer price, and the plan is not confirmation that those features are already available.
