Latest official status
Revolut’s United States and Ireland status pages both reported all systems operational when checked on 21 October 2026. This is a dated check of those two country pages, not a live guarantee for every transaction or country.
The pages do not establish an exact restoration time. They also do not show whether any individual pending payment has completed.
What happened on 20 October
GOV.UK Pay opened an incident at 11:21 BST after some Revolut cardholders could not make payments. Pay said the issue was specific to that bank and that it did not see the same problem with other cards.
At 14:16 BST, Pay said payment failures and error rates had returned to normal. It closed its incident at 16:13 BST, while noting that Revolut still reported outages. Pay’s closure described its own payment service; it did not establish recovery across Revolut.
Checking a payment now
Use the Revolut status page for your country and the transaction record in your account. If a payment remains unclear, check it with the provider or merchant before retrying. A historical outage report cannot tell you the outcome of a specific payment.
