Season 3 starts on November 11
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power season 3 is scheduled to start on Prime Video on November 11, 2026. Amazon's season guide, updated with a trailer on October 21, lists a three-date release plan for its eight episodes.
The complete episode calendar
Wednesday, November 11: episodes 1, 2, 3 and 4.
Wednesday, November 18: episodes 5 and 6.
Wednesday, November 25: episodes 7 and 8, completing the season.
That puts half the season in the opening batch. Viewers planning to watch the whole season together should use November 25 as the scheduled completion date, rather than expecting all eight episodes at the premiere.
The trailer update is separate from the original date
Amazon had already announced the November 11 premiere at its May 11 Upfront presentation. The October 21 update adds the season trailer; it is not a new premiere-date announcement.
