The UK window ends after midnight
Blizzard community manager Kaivax reconfirmed on 21 October that the European WoW Forever stress test was scheduled to start at 19:00 CEST. For UK players, the planned window is 18:00 BST on 21 October to 02:00 BST on 22 October.
The end time crosses into the following day. Blizzard says the test window can be shortened or extended, so these are scheduled times rather than a promise that every realm or login will work throughout.
Choose the Stress Test version in Battle.net
You need a WoW account. An active subscription, game time, invitation or beta access is not required for this test. In the Battle.net desktop app, select World of Warcraft, then choose World of Warcraft: Forever Stress Test under In Development in the Game Version menu. Install that version, choose an available test realm and create a new test character.
Progress will be wiped
Characters, names and guilds created on the stress-test servers will be deleted afterwards. This session will not secure a permanent character name.
The stress test and beta have separate schedules. Blizzard plans to reopen the beta after the test and close it on 23 October at 18:00 BST. The free test is not an announcement of unrestricted beta access or the finished game being free.
