The Steam launch is confirmed

ArcheAge Chronicles entered Steam Early Access on November 3, 2026. XLGAMES has published its launch announcement, and the Steam listing now shows a purchase option. The US store displayed $29.99 when checked; other regional checkout prices can differ.

This is the Early Access release. The launch announcement says development and improvements will continue with player feedback, so it should not be confused with a completed full release.

Agree on a server before creating characters

The developer says a character created on one server cannot transfer to another during Early Access. It has not confirmed if or when a transfer feature might be introduced.

Players on different servers cannot play together. If you are joining friends, agree on the same server before creating your characters. Do not choose separate servers on the assumption that cross-server grouping or a later transfer will reunite the group.

Steam Family Sharing is not supported

A separate official notice says ArcheAge Chronicles does not support Steam Family Sharing. Access through another family member's library should therefore not be assumed when planning how the group will play.

The server and sharing notices were published before launch. Their restrictions remain relevant to the newly available build; the launch announcement does not describe them as removed.

Check the PC requirements before installing

The Steam listing specifies Windows, an SSD and 100 GB of available storage. Minimum memory is 16 GB RAM; the recommended specification calls for 32 GB. Available storage is a requirement, not a confirmed download size.

The listing also identifies XIGNCODE3 as kernel-level anti-cheat. Review the complete official requirements and terms before buying or installing. The developer's launch notice confirms availability; this guide is not a test of server connectivity or game performance.
