The support policy covers the manufacturer
Azahar’s developers announced on October 26, 2026 that they would not officially support the RG DDS or other Anbernic devices. The team says issues and bugs specific to that manufacturer’s hardware will not be investigated or resolved.
In the same thread, the team cited Anbernic’s use of unofficial Azahar forks in RG DDS promotional material. It advised people who want official support to consider alternative devices.
What the statement establishes
Azahar is a free, open-source Nintendo 3DS emulator for PC and mobile devices. Its official site describes versions for Windows, macOS, Linux and Android.
The announcement sets out a support decision. It supplies no per-game performance results or testing of individual Anbernic models, so it cannot establish how a given game will run.
