The Switch 2 release date
Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 will arrive on Nintendo Switch 2 on 19 November 2026. Warhammer Community confirmed the date in its 29 October roundup of Warhammer Day announcements.
Auroch Digital already lists the PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S editions as available. The November date is the additional Switch 2 release.
Digital format and solo play
The developer's FAQ says Boltgun 2 is a digital release, with no physical edition currently planned. It also identifies the game as a single-player experience.
Auroch describes a first-person shooter with a branching campaign and two playable characters, Malum Caedo and Nyra Veyrath. The story continues from the end of the earlier Boltgun.
Where the new date comes from
The developer's general game page and FAQ still describe the Switch 2 version as arriving after the other editions. The dated Warhammer Community announcement supplies the specific 19 November date for that version.
