Pollock adds two tries after the break
England defeated Australia 45-22 at Allianz Stadium in London on November 8. Henry Pollock scored twice after coming on, helping the hosts pull away from a 19-10 half-time lead.
Jamie George, Ollie Chessum, Joe Heyes and Jack van Poortvliet also crossed for England. Ben Spencer completed their seven-try total with a late interception score.
Australia’s response and the standings
Max Jorgensen scored before half-time for Australia, with Filipo Daugunu and Jeremy Williams adding second-half tries. Pollock’s quick double had already extended England’s lead to 38-10.
The official Six Nations report puts England second in the Northern Hemisphere standings on 15 points, two behind France. It describes 45 as England’s highest points total against Australia; that is a scoring record, not a claim about the largest winning margin.
