Sacramento confirms the move
The Sacramento Kings have traded guard Nique Clifford to the Oklahoma City Thunder. The club announced the completed transaction on November 8 at 12:47pm PST, equivalent to 20:47 UTC.
Which draft picks change hands
Sacramento receives two second-round selections: an unprotected 2028 pick via Utah and an unprotected 2030 pick via Minnesota. Both are future second-round picks, not first-round selections.
The club identifies the picks by their original teams; Oklahoma City is the team sending them in this deal.
What the announcement leaves open
The release confirms the player and the return but does not specify Clifford’s debut date or role in Oklahoma City’s rotation. Those details should be checked separately before treating him as available for a particular game.
