Two marathon titles, two course records
Johnnie Guy and Lindsey Bradley won the men’s and women’s races at the Indianapolis Monumental Marathon on Saturday, November 7, each setting a course record, according to organizer Beyond Monumental’s race-day results announcement.
Guy finished in 2:11:47, ahead of Cameron Dickson in 2:13:16 and Kobe Blanco in 2:14:12. His time beat the previous course record of 2:12:29.
Bradley won in 2:29:47, improving on her own 2:31:49 course record from 2024. Isabel Hebner was second in a published time of 2:29:48, with Melissa Berry third in 2:31:40.
Records in the half marathon and 5K
Owen Smith won the men’s half marathon in a course-record 1:01:42. Matt Richtman followed in 1:01:48 and Noah Fisher in 1:02:04. The organizer says seven men ran faster than the previous 1:02:25 course record.
Mikayla Reed won the women’s half marathon in 1:08:51. Rebecca Schmitt set the women’s 5K course record with 15:56, improving on the previous mark of 16:03. Those results brought the organizer’s total to four course records across the three distances.
What the Olympic Trials figure means
Beyond Monumental reports 28 performances meeting qualifying times for the 2028 U.S. Olympic Team Trials in the marathon, compared with 13 at the 2025 event. That is a Trials qualifying-time claim from the organizer, not selection for the Olympic Games team.
The event reported 18,000 registered participants across its marathon, half marathon and 5K, drawn from all 50 states and more than 35 countries. That registration figure is not a count of marathon finishers.
The times here come from Beyond Monumental’s November 7 results announcement. The official event website links to the full results service for runners checking individual placings and later corrections.
