Where to watch the new trailer
Sony Pictures Entertainment published its new Jumanji: Open World trailer on October 28, 2026. It is available on the studio’s verified YouTube channel, linked below.
Sony’s US website lists a December 25 theatrical release. The trailer description also advertises Christmas Day in cinemas; its October upload date is separate from the movie’s release date.
The game comes into the real world
Sony describes the film as the final installment of the action-adventure trilogy led by Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black and Karen Gillan. Its premise reverses the earlier journeys into Jumanji: the game escapes its console and brings its chaos into the real world.
Jake Kasdan directs, with a screenplay credited to Kasdan, Jeff Pinkner and Scott Rosenberg. The studio marks the credits as not final. The theatrical announcement does not give a date for watching the full film on a streaming service.
