Two late goals earn a point

Manchester United drew 4-4 with Aston Villa on November 8 after Joshua Zirkzee and Patrick Dorgu scored in second-half stoppage time. Dorgu headed in from a corner in the 96th minute.

Villa had been 4-2 ahead before added time. The draw came in Unai Emery’s 200th Premier League game as a manager.

How the eight goals unfolded

Alysson and Nicolas Jackson put Villa 2-0 up inside four minutes. Bruno Fernandes converted a penalty before Youri Tielemans equalised for United just before half-time.

Villa struck twice again early in the second half: John McGinn scored a penalty and Leon Goretzka finished from close range. United’s late response then turned a likely defeat into a shared point.
