Dead by Daylight needs no Game Pass subscription
Xbox’s October 29 announcement lists a console trial of Dead by Daylight through November 2, 2026. It is part of Free Play Days for All, without a Game Pass Ultimate, Premium or Essential requirement. Xbox’s support FAQ says that this type of event includes multiplayer.
Four games for eligible members
WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers, Darkwood, Spirittea and EVERSPACE 2 are included from October 29 through November 1 for Game Pass Ultimate, Premium and Essential members. Spirittea and EVERSPACE 2 are offered on both console and PC. The announcement does not specify an exact cutoff time.
Where to find the trials
On console, open Store, then Home, then Subscriptions, and look for Free Play Days. Check your region’s Store listing for each game, since availability can vary. Trial access is temporary. If you buy a game afterward, Xbox says you can continue from where you left off.
