The reported quarter
AMD reported third-quarter 2026 revenue of $13.4 billion, up 45% year over year, on November 3. The quarter ended September 26.
GAAP net income was $2.428 billion, with diluted earnings of $1.46 per share. AMD separately reported adjusted, non-GAAP earnings of $2.09 per share; the two measures use different treatments of expenses and other items.
Data Center grows while gaming falls
Data Center revenue reached $8.5 billion, up 97%, supported by EPYC processors and Instinct GPUs. Client and Gaming revenue was $3.7 billion, down 8%. Within that combined segment, Client revenue rose 7% to $2.9 billion, while Gaming fell 40% to $773 million.
The split matters: a company-wide revenue record does not describe the direction of every product business.
What AMD forecasts next
AMD forecasts fourth-quarter revenue of approximately $17 billion, plus or minus 3%, and a non-GAAP gross margin of about 55%. Those are management expectations for a future quarter, not completed results.
