Wizeline joins Cognizant

Cognizant announced on November 6 that it has acquired Wizeline, a digital engineering and product development services company. The announcement describes a completed acquisition, rather than an agreement awaiting a stated future closing date.

Wizeline’s capabilities include software and product engineering, cloud modernisation, data and AI. Cognizant says the acquisition expands its capacity to help enterprise customers develop and scale digital products and platforms.

Why media clients are a focus

Cognizant highlights Wizeline’s relationships with large US businesses in publishing and news, film, broadcasting, and talent and creator representation. Those customers are the clearest stated audience for the added engineering capability; the release does not announce a new consumer app or streaming subscription.

For enterprise teams following an existing Wizeline engagement, the confirmed change is ownership. The announcement does not specify changes to individual contracts, service prices or customer migration requirements. Those details need to be checked with the companies rather than inferred from the transaction.

Deal terms remain undisclosed

Cognizant acquired Wizeline from its previous investors, including La Caisse. It did not disclose the financial terms. The announcement therefore supplies no purchase price or quantified revenue contribution for readers to compare with the company’s other transactions.
