The confirmed lineup

Kaulig Racing has named AJ Allmendinger and Ty Dillon as the drivers for its flagship Dodge NASCAR Cup Series program in 2027, according to a November 6 announcement from Stellantis. Allmendinger will drive the No. 16 entry; Dillon will continue in the No. 10.

The new information is the driver lineup for the manufacturer’s return. Dodge’s decision to return to the Cup Series in 2027 had already been announced earlier in the week. Kaulig describes the project as a multiyear building phase.

What happens on December 4

Dodge says it will reveal the race car carrying its 2027 livery on December 4 at the 59th Snowball Derby. The announcement lists livestreams on FloRacing and the NASCAR channel.

It gives no exact broadcast time or access price. Viewers should check the linked announcement and the named platforms for the eventual schedule and viewing requirements. The reveal is a separate milestone from the 2027 Cup season.

What the announcement does not settle

The release confirms the two driver assignments and the planned reveal date, rather than race results or a prediction of the team’s competitiveness. It does not publish a complete 2027 Cup race schedule.

The Dodge Sno-Brawl also planned for the reveal evening is a celebrity late-model challenge. It should not be confused with a NASCAR Cup championship race.
