Build a space inside the existing app
Meta introduced spaces inside its Muse app on November 6. A user describes an idea, such as a gift tracker, a daily game or a project planner, and Muse builds a custom experience that can be adjusted over time. This is a new feature within Muse, rather than an announcement that the app itself has just launched.
Meta says users can change a space’s appearance, add content and alter how it works. Its examples include trip planning, freelance project tracking and organising creative work.
Choose where and when it appears
Spaces can be added to the sidebar or main tabs, hidden when they are not needed and scheduled to appear at particular times. Meta gives the example of showing a weekly planner during the working week and switching to weekend plans on Saturday.
According to Meta, connecting other apps lets relevant information update in the background. Users can also check off items, add notes and edit a space directly. The announcement does not establish that every external app or account can connect.
Availability and the feature still being explored
Meta says spaces are available from November 6 everywhere Muse is already available. The announcement does not provide a country-by-country eligibility list or a separate price for spaces. Existing Muse users can check the app for the feature without treating this release as confirmation of availability in a new country.
Sharing spaces with other people is still being explored. The release does not announce generally available collaboration, so users should not assume a space can already be shared with a team or family.
