Purchases stop before the game closes
The official UK/Ireland notice schedules the end of Pokémon UNITE on Nintendo Switch and mobile for March 23, 2027 at 00:00 UTC. That is midnight GMT in the UK and Ireland.
It lists October 27, 2026 at 05:00 UTC for stopping Aeos gem sales, new UNITE Club memberships and automatic renewals. Existing members keep their benefits until their current membership period ends. Gems already held remain usable until shutdown.
The practical distinction is between the purchase deadline and the playable-service deadline. Stopping new payments does not bring the March shutdown forward.
Download the library before the final deadline
A library update is planned for November 12, 2026 at 04:00 UTC. It is intended to preserve selected items and achievements, with a Practice Area for viewing moves and effects. It does not preserve playable battles after shutdown.
Once the feature arrives, its required data downloads during normal play or when first opened. Complete that download before March 23 at 00:00 UTC to retain library access afterward.
Choose a device you expect to keep. Library data generally cannot transfer to another device; if deleted or lost after closure, it may not be recoverable. Support for the feature also ends with the service.
