What the league has announced
LIV Golf said on November 5 that it intends to wind down its operations. Its restructuring support agreement with BC Partners Credit has been terminated after the parties failed to resolve outstanding transaction terms.
The proposed recapitalization, which LIV sought to implement through its Chapter 11 proceedings in New Jersey, is not expected to proceed at this time, according to the league.
A plan, with alternatives still possible
LIV says it will continue to consider other options that could preserve value during the wind-down. The announcement describes an intended process; it does not say that every closure step has already been completed.
