Which transfers are affected?
Wealthsimple's official status page still lists crypto transfers to or from new addresses as unavailable. At our November 5 check at 17:47 UTC, the incident remained in the Investigating stage and was assigned to the Investing service's Crypto component.
The provider describes a temporary issue affecting some crypto transfers. Its notice does not say that every crypto transfer, login or other Wealthsimple service is unavailable.
A November 4 notice, still open
The incident was posted on November 4, 2026, at 3:10pm EST (20:10 UTC). That is the notice's posting time; it does not establish exactly when the disruption began. This is an ongoing incident, rather than a newly announced November 5 outage.
The notice gives no restoration time, cause or list of affected networks.

If you need to transfer crypto to or from a new address, open the official incident report linked below for the latest status. Check the affected operation rather than assuming a general service-status indicator confirms that your transfer will work.
